Anyone who knows me, knows that I like to harp on about not doing enough with my life. Not seeing enough of the world, not helping anyone etc etc.

As it takes a bit more planning to go walk the Inca Trail or go see the Great Wall of China than it does to go see all the wonderful things your doorstep has to offer.

Ireland is a small and beautiful country, and i’ve barely seen half of it. That is why I created my Irish Bucket List. It is more than possible to carry out each of the items on this list.

If anyone has been to any of these places, please drop me a comment on how  you got on. Or if you have something you think that I should add to my list do let me know!

I’ll be sure to update as I go 🙂

  1. Thanks for checking out my blog! My residency only lasted a month in Ireland but I was spellbound the whole time and will definitely be going back. Over the last month, I wrote about several of the places on your list but I have now added Game of Thrones tour to mine! I recommend checking out Garinish Ireland in County Cork. It was so beautiful!

  2. Hey! This is a great list. I’ve been to a good few of these places and they definitely are well worth being on a bucket list! I’ve written about a few of them in previous blog posts. I travelled the Wild Atlantic Way with my sister so I got to check off a good bit off my own list. Slieve League cliffs in Donegal definitely should be on your list. It’s just amazing there! Have a read of some of my experiences in the places you’ve mentioned! Belfast also is really cool place if you’ve haven’t already been. ☺️

  3. This is awesome, I want to go back so bad and visit some of these destinations, I had no idea that there were this many more tourist sites. I have to say personally I enjoyed the Giants Causeway more than anything else! It was something out of a movie. Enjoy!

  4. Lovely list, would love to see all. Dublin’s museums are also very interesting and most of them free of charge. I’m very fond of Celbridge, Kildare with its gems, including being the place of Arthur Guinness’s birth and where his first beer was made and also Castletown House in Celbridge. Is very easy to get there too, is only 12 miles from Dublin by car, also by bus 67 from the quay. And don’t start me on Phoenix Park and its more that 300 dear. Ireland is wonderful 🙂
