A First Time Visitor to New York City!


New York is a wonderful city, however it is also gigantic so navigating your way around can initially be quite intimidating. Once you get used to it though, the numbered Avenues and Street system makes it almost impossible to get lost. You have two options to get to your destination – follow the street number uptown or downtown.

To Sligo We Go!

So this weekend I visited some of my family in Sligo, about a three hour trip from Dublin. It’s something I don’t do often enough and plan to make more of an effort to see them. Especially my grandparents, people which I have almost taken for granted and they won’t be around forever. Make the most of the time you have ya’ll.

A recent visit to my little sister who’s on an Erasmus year in Alicante has reignited my craving to travel. I have never taken a year out or gone off travelling the world for a couple of months, although I’ve always had a longing to do so.

Before going to college my little sister’s only goal was to end up living in Spain. And 2 years later, she’s over there studying for a year. Luckily my sister is one of those lucky few who know what they want to do, well what country she wants to live in anyway! Continue reading “Alicante!”
